Didn't realise it was a disney film till it was too late basically. i mean, it was nice because alexis was in it, and i absolutely LOVE alexis bledel, so you know, thats always fantastic. but it was ok, i mean i wasnt paying that much attention, so the basic storyline wasnt the easiest thing in the world to get. i mean it was about people who never aged.
and also, it was kind of a giant bummer in the end, because the girl who loved the boy who was immortal and stuck in time never drunk from the water from the spring that made him that way, so when he went back to get her, she was dead, so you know, that was depressing, but apart from that, all pretty good actually.

Fantastic film. There is a really fucking hot sex scene in the rain in like crops or something between JRM and SJ. I liked it because of its realism more than anything else. the conversations were filled with fillers and backchanneling, making it seem more realistic, and of course SJ added to any movie is going to make it better. the story line in general was a bit odd. killing the obsessive other half an all, and time sort of progresses without you really knowing when you are, or whats going on, but its pretty effective. thoroughly enjoyable.

Really Powerful movie actually. Im not used to watching Adam Sandler do anything remotely moving, or varying away from comedy at all actually, but this was really touching. All about how his family died on the 1st plane (wierd movie to show on the plane..) and how he refuses to talk or think about them, and is a bit of a psycho and completely reverted, and how his old college roommate gets him to sort himself out. and when he finally tells this old roomate about his family its so sad that i actually ended up crying. VERY powerful, but im not sure if thats only because its about loss and 9/11 rather than its actually a good story. it was an ok film, but definately not a favourite. if it didnt make me cry i would have much worse opinions on it.

John Tucker Must Die

This film is like the ultimate cliche-esque teen chic flic sort of thing. Has the MOST cliche, everyone come together at the end for a giant cake fight, and everything works out for everyone and everyone is happy, which of course is a quality in which i find very invigorating in a movie.
That and staring at Jesse Metcalfe's Pecs for one and a half hours - cuz thats great too.
On top of that, Sophia Bush has got talent (and kiss) but the winner who steals the show goes to Brittany Snow. who, has absolutely AMAZING eyes. - Also a refressing change from seeing her as a neo nazi on NIP/TUCK - which i possibly may have perferred (it involved a LOT of eyeliner!)
This film is one of the best films to make you smile.
And the joy of a strategically, but very awkwardly placed "shit" by miss BS.

It was also sort of detatching because i mean, well i dunno, it was just staticy but in a good way, you didnt really get attached to any of the characters, you were more of an observer, but in this film i thought that was good. VERY good job by Hayden. How i love her.
there is a fantastic video on youtube where someone thought she was lindsay lohan and she just said "dont ever call me that again". It was pretty funny. Gutted to be lindsay, having a 17 year old, actually be ANGRY at a mishap like that. have also been watching heroes with Hayden. shes a beaut.

It was, just an OK film. felt like it should have had hugh grant staring in it though. Just a Brittish, Hugh Grant sort of a film. The way brittish films were seen to be in the 90's. The most depressing thing is that i think this was in the 00's...

This film is acctually pretty messed. Basically what it is about, is that Lindsay's character (rachel) is sent to live with her grandmother in idaho. And she kinda tells someone that her step-dad used to fuck her, and like, touch her and that. And then theres some huge "is she lying, isnt she lying" and whatever, which is obviously very endearing. So then she tells her mum she made it up, but tells her step-dad she has a tape of them doing it, and if he ever hurts her, he is FUCKED. which is lol. Then just when she is about to tell her mum it wasnt a lie, her mum figures it out anyway. how lovely.
Kinda a good film. It was different at least. Also, very different from anything ive seen LiLo in before. She was pretty convincing, unlike the film as a whole. Nice to hear her use some fruity language once in a while. Her charater "rebel girl who shags around", very much like her actual real life character - so probably not much acting involved after all.
Either way, i liked the film, and the story, and the cast. It made me laugh. even if it wasnt supposed to

This is 3 hours of absolute genius. Laura Greenwood is one of the most fantastic little actresses i have ever laid my eyes across. and there is something about her. the way she talks, and the way she does the things she does, that makes me admire her. i cannot believe she is only 14, (probably 15 by now). and not unattractive either, which will help her quite a lot! Helen Mirren of course, fantastic. The whole 3 hours was just a lovely experience, and although not TECHNICALLY a movie, it still maintains a place in my heart. Saw this girl in V for Vendetta this morning, and i hope to see her again.

A pleasant surprise, although, it shouldn't have been really, once i had learnt that it was directed (and produced) by the Wachowski brothers (directors of the matrix). And these graphic novel adaptions are normally pretty good i'd say. Natalie portman was pretty ace in it acctually. And unlike most films with a mask, this one, the masked man was the hero. a nice and exciting twist for me. possibly the best thing about this film, was Laura Greenwood's appearance. (the girl from prime suspect 7) man do i love her! On my regular checks of trivia on IMDB i have learnt that Natalie portman was chosen over Scarlett Johansson. Now that would have been cool, but then, i did like NP's english accent, and i guess it would have been a different film if SJ was in it instead.

This is a really cute film, but incidentaly, quite depressing. its just the thought that you can be stuck in a rut of a marriage, meet someone you love, and you cant do anything about it because you're a good person. how fair is that. SJ and BM are missing out on absolute happiness, but because BM is a nice guy, he is instead picking out burgundy carpet for his study. If thats being and adult, i dont really wanna grow up.
However, a really really cute film. Lots of Johansson in her undies, which is excellent, really. who could ask for anything better, and acctually BM is pretty damn funny. who knew?
this film, is artsy, romantic, and kinda funny. and has a hottie. ticks all the right boxes i'd say.

My favourite film of all time. such an all star cast, with fitties galore. Josh Hartnett. TYB before he goes yellow, Jessica Alba, Brittany Murphey, Alexis Bledel, and Rosario Dawson.
However's idea it was to have hookers (Frank Miller). ledgend. Also an awesome idea to have Alexis' eyes be blue. I suppose they didnt think it was worth wasting that talent. I also recon that JA should have had some colour. cant win them all.
I LOVE frank miller, and the novels, and just this film in general, for everything it has. and TYB. hes histerical. The way its shot is beautiful. the tarrentinoesque style, the angles, everyting about it.
This film is amazing. Anyone who turned down the oppertunity to be in it probably made the biggest mistake of their lives.

its cool, it kinda, follows the two boys seperately, and then they meet. and its just so wierdly demented. acctually. their lives since they were fucked around with by their baseball coach. lesson, never send your kids to baseball.

wasnt as sad as i hoped it would be, but i really wish they didnt kill the kid. seemed a bit pointless cuz they paid more to have him killed than what their brother owed. all to avoid jail time, and now hes got life to death. poor jt who got life. Elvis however, was a twat!
